The Quad
The formal entrance has a central RH Montgomery grafted blue spruce surrounded by four specialty plantings – Japanese maple, cedar and two spruces, picea abiens (Norway) and picea glauca pendula (white). The area is bordered by troughs, ewe hedges and trumpet vine entrances. Notice the roses covering the south wall of the 1830 farmhouse. This house on the National Register of Historic Places is one of the Original houses in the Town of Arlington.
